Project supported by the government of the State of São Paulo, through the Cultural Actions Program - PROAC and the Cultural Tiduca Association, "Black Community of Rocio: Rescuing Our Jongueiras Roots" book brings the trajectory of a year of project with the Young Tiduqueiros aiming to rescue Rocio community's history. Launched in 2016, the book proposes to write about Jongo, practices, involvement and empower the community itself from its roots. We work here with authorial illustrations, as well as the layout of the entire work.
